Geo LTD. Entertainment Japan LLC (ジオ株式会社エンタテインメントジャパン合同会社 Jio kabushikigaisha Entateinmentojapan Gōdō-gaisha) is a Japanese music, anime and home entertainment production and distribution enterprise headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is owned by Geo LTD., a subsidiary of NBCUniversal.
History[]
In May 1977 Geo LTD. Japan, Co. was established. Their work was to publish music and anime. In 1978, the first film released in Japan, Flight Airport. In 1979, Geo LTD. Japan's first family film Burn a Hole! which was remade in 2003 by Disney and Walden as Holes.
